The Dutch (Wedding) DJ Party, it’s DJ/VJ Rob from Amsterdam here to make your party the best you ever had.

with DJ Rob from Amsterdam

PRE-INTRO
πŸŽ‰ “Good evening, party people! Welcome to the electrifying (name of venue)! I’m your host with the most, _, and I’m here to rock your socks off at the (Surnames of couple) reception. Hold onto your seats, because tonight is going to be an epic ride!” πŸŽ‰

INTRODUCTIONS
πŸš€ “Attention, ladies and gentlemen! Can I have your undivided attention, please? The wait is over, and our superstar wedding party is about to make its grand entrance! Get ready to give them a standing ovation!” πŸš€

πŸ’ƒ “First up, we have… drumroll… the spectacular (bridesmaid/attendant) accompanied by the dashing (groomsman/attendant)! Let’s hear it for this dynamic duo!” πŸ’ƒ

🌟 “Now, let’s welcome the next gorgeous couple to grace the stage… (bridesmaid/attendant) and (groomsman/attendant)! Give it up, everybody!” 🌟

πŸ‘ Keep the excitement going by introducing each couple with flair, adding a fun tidbit about their relationship to the couple. And don’t forget those applause prompts, folks!

πŸ₯ And now, the moment we’ve all been waiting for… Make some noise for the newlyweds, stepping onto the dance floor for the very first time as a married power couple! Let’s give a thunderous ovation for the (name of the couple)!” πŸ₯

GROUND RULES
πŸ“’ “Before we indulge in tonight’s mouthwatering feast, let’s go over some ground rules to ensure this celebration stays on fire!” πŸ“’

  • Bathroom Location
  • Smoking Area / Drinking Area
  • No drinking and driving/Venue to call taxis at the end of
    night
  • Any Special Announcements, i.e. sign guest book,
    guest gifts
  • Flow of Evening
  • (Optional) Introduce Kissing Game (note that some
venues don’t allow the clinking of glasses)
Before we begin our meal, I would like to invite the person giving the blessing to come to the podium.
  • Please join me in giving them a round of applause. Once the blessing is finished, we can start our dinner. Tonight’s meal will be (mention dinner style), and the bar will be (closed or open) throughout dinner. If you need a drink, feel free to order from your server. We are missing one thing though; the couple’s first official kiss of the reception. Can we have a volunteer for our kissing game? (Ask the couple to stand up). My name is (your name). Sit back, relax, and enjoy your meal. During dinner, check on the couple and see if they need anything. When the first course is being delivered, find the first two guests who will be speaking and let them know that you’ll introduce them after everyone has received their first course. Inform the photographer, videographer, and venue of upcoming events if necessary. When it’s time for the speeches, start by saying, “Ladies and gentlemen, we are ready for our first speech of the evening. Please give our (wedding role) a round of applause.” After the speech, say, “Let’s give our (wedding role) a hand for a great speech!” Repeat this process after each course. Typically, there will be two speeches after the first course, two after the second course, and the couple will speak after the dessert course. Before cutting the cake, make sure you’ve consulted with the couple and photographer to see if they’re ready. When it’s time, say, “Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time for our newlyweds to cut the wedding cake. Please feel free to take pictures for your memories.”To start the dancing, hand the microphone over to the DJ and say, “Ladies and gentlemen, I’d like to pass the microphone over to the DJ to get the party started off right. (DJ to introduce themselves and let guests know that requests are welcome). It’s time to get this party going. My name is (your name), and I’ll be taking danceable requests throughout the evening. The couple really wants to see everyone on the dance floor, so let’s make this a night to remember for them!”Next, say, “And now, ladies and gentlemen, we would like to bring out our newlyweds to dance their first dance as a married couple. Let’s give them a hand.” When they finish, say, “Let’s give our newlyweds a round of applause.”If there’s a father/daughter dance, say, “And now, I’d like to ask the father of (Bride’s name) to escort his daughter to the dance floor for the father/daughter dance.” When they finish, say, “Folks, let’s give them a round of applause. They are the (Bride’s Family Surname) Family!”If the formal events are over, say, “Ladies and gentlemen, that concludes our formal events. Now we would like to open the dancing to everyone. So, husbands grab your wives, boyfriends grab your girlfriends, and join the newlyweds on the dance floor for an open slow dance.”If there’s a mother/son dance, say, “(Groom’s name), please escort your mom to the dance floor for the mother/son dance.” When they finish, say, “Ladies and gentlemen, let’s give the (Groom’s Family Surname) Family a round of applause!”Finally, say, “Now, joining the couple on the dance floor will be the wedding party for the wedding party dance. Here’s a song picked out just for you from the couple. If we could have the entire wedding party on the floor, please!” After they finish, say, “Let’s give the wedding party a big hand for being such good friends to the couple!”
